MESC Community Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

About This Policy

This policy covers the "introduction card" in the MESC community — the profile you fill in to join the community and which its members can see. It complements the platform's general Privacy Policy, which governs the rest of your data. The entity responsible for this data is the MESC platform offered by coach Rawan Al-Sayed, under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Data We Collect

Your card consists of: • Your name and photo from your platform account. • Your answers to the card questions set by the community administration, currently including: nationality; qualification, major and job; areas of expertise and interest; whether you have children; and what you would like to share or learn. • Data collected for administration purposes that is not shown to other members, currently including: date of birth, and your children's names and ages, if any. Joining the community is voluntary, but completing most card questions is a condition of joining, and questions not marked as mandatory are optional.

Purpose of Collection

We collect this data for one specific purpose: to introduce approved MESC community members to one another and facilitate communication among them. We use it for no other purpose, never for advertising, and we never sell or rent it.

Legal Basis: Your Consent

We process your card data on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before first submitting the card for review, or through the consent screen if your card was approved earlier. We record the date of your consent and the version of this policy you agreed to. This is not consent to the Terms & Conditions; it is a separate, independent consent.

Who Can See Your Card

Your card is not published to the public. It appears in the community directory to approved members only, limited to the fields the administration has marked as visible to members. Administration data such as date of birth and children's names and ages is not shown to them and is seen only by authorized administration staff. The administration reviews each card before publication and may approve, reject or hide it from the directory. When you edit an approved card it goes back to review, and the previously approved version stays visible until the edit is approved.

Member Responsibilities

A member undertakes that the information she enters is accurate, that she does not publish other people's personal data without their permission, that she respects the privacy of other members, and that she does not copy or publish the directory's content outside the community.

Sharing, Storage & Retention

Your card data is stored in the platform's database and your photo is stored with Cloudinary or displayed from your Google account picture link, and may be processed on servers outside the Kingdom given the nature of that service. We do not disclose the card to any party outside the community. We keep it as long as you are a community member and your account is active, and destroy it within 7 business days of receiving the withdrawal request you submit from your Account page; we will notify you of the outcome by email or WhatsApp.

Your Rights & Withdrawing Consent

At any time you may: • View, edit and correct your card from the community page. • Download a copy of your data yourself from your Account page. • Withdraw your consent and leave the community by submitting a request from your Account page, whereupon your card and membership data are deleted. • Request destruction of your data, also from your Account page. • Know how your data is processed, file a complaint, and claim compensation for any damage caused to you by a breach of the Law. To request withdrawal or destruction use your Account page, and to exercise the other rights write to us at mesc@rawanelsayed.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before it.

Complaints

Write to us at mesc@rawanelsayed.com with any complaint about your card or the processing of your data in the community, and we will review it and reply. If it is not resolved to your satisfaction you may take it to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
